about us
bock was founded by artists Delia Fröhlich and Max Funkat, who shared a dream of creating a space inspired by the internal feeling of ‘bock’ [as defined above].
in 2019, they discovered the “last unicorn” among landlords in Kreuzberg, Berlin—someone who believed in their vision and trusted their talents. with his support, they started their journey to transform a run-down building into something extraordinary.
over 3 years, Delia and Max poured their hearts and souls into renovating the space. in 2022, their hard work paid off, and bock officially opened its doors!
what was once an abandoned building is now a beautifully crafted atelier, showroom and event space.
every corner and detail at bock reflects the passion, creativity and vision of Delia and Max, bringing the feeling of ‘bock’ to life.

bock is a different interpretation of an art gallery. the space is not designed to showcase finished works on white walls.
instead,
bock is immersed in an intimate, ever-evolving atmosphere, where visitors can experience art and objects in a naturally curated environment. at bock, art feels alive and integrated, inviting us to be part of it - reflecting the genuine process of creativity and the organic connection between space and artwork.
